Adrian Goldberg hears from Zack Polanski, Green Party member of the London Assembly, and a challenger for his party’s leadership.
Polanski is an advocate of what he calls ‘eco populism’ and says that he’s happy to draw inspiration from - amongst others - Jeremy Corbyn.
At the same time, he insists The Greens - who currently have four MPs at Westminster - can take votes from Reform UK as well as disaffected Labour supporters.
Polanski is taking on current co-leader Adrian Ramsey who has teamed up for a joint bid with fellow Green MP Ellie Chowns, after his current political partner Carla Denyer announced she was stepping down.
Produced in Birmingham by Adrian Goldberg and Harvey White.
