And their leader essentially wants us out of NATO. That makes the Greens unacceptable except possibly if you absolutely have to vote prevent a Reform win.

"Essentially" - no, not really.

There's nuance there. I think now that Trump's trying to get the US out of NATO, the rest of Europe can breath a sigh of relief & start working together.

You are joking, aren’t you? You want to see the USA out of NATO?

With Trump in the Whitehouse, the whole NATO structure looks shaky.

Since we can't be sure the US won't share any information they get with Russia, how can we rely on them to help defend Europe?

I'd rather know who my allies are, and who I can rely on, in times like these.

It's scary, but Putin is already running out of cash & soldiers because of Ukraine's incredible bravery, so it's not as bad as it might be...

But please tell me you don’t understand that the USA pulling out of NATO would be a vast problem. I don’t wish to be rude, but I think your thought process on this is extremely naive.

I agree that the USA pulling out of NATO would be a vast problem.

But with Trump in the Whitehouse, it's a real possibility & there's not much you or I can do about it.

BUT I would still be more worried if I thought that "those in power" imagined for one moment that they could still rely on America.

I think your attitude is also possibly naive - just because the USA pulling out of NATO would be difficult doesn't mean it can't happen. Like just because Trump is president, doesn't mean he can't be blackmailed by Putin.

I’m sorry. But I can’t engage further with your non sequiturs. Of course I understand that Trump might pull out ofNATO.
