Polls of this kind are always useful as ways to apply pressure but the question this government is ducking is how a substantial pay increase will be funded. That seems to scare the bejeebers out of them.
It would be very useful if someone (hint Adam?) would investigate and raise the point about waste. NHS professionals with whom I’ve spoken recently say that the lack of information sharing, especially with outsourced private operators but also at an interdepartmental level is maddening, representing a colossal waste. And that’s just one example. How many others might there be?
