Every word here hammers home the truth.

I fervently wished for a huge Labour victory with the chance to reset the country on multiple fronts. But Starmer’s refusal to reopen the Brexit issue, objective catastrophe that it is, is - in its way - no less irresponsible than Truss & Kwarteng’s fantasy economics.

Starmer wants growth above all else as the solution to our economic problems. Refusal to consider the most obvious and biggest boost available - reversing Brexit - is frankly nothing short of bone-header.

That said, putting the UK back in a leadership role at the centre of Europe is also absolutely essential for our national security, the coordinated handling of migration, and for our society in the broadest cultural sense.

Very well written. I fully support everything that you have detailed. I have to hope that Starmer is working to prove that they are the right party to reset relationships across the EU and the world. Brexit has been personally devastating. It's been and remains an economic disaster. It has reduced so many opportunities for our young people. It has narrowed minds and encouraged bigotry. The lack of will to address this issue is demoralising, undemocratic, and shortsighted.
