Far right US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered to pay more than $49million dollars – around £40 million pounds – in damages after his repeated claims that the Sandy Hook School massacre in 2012 was a hoax. He claimed the incident was fabricated to increase support for gun control.
