Dan Wootton popped up on GB News viewers’ screens again on Thursday night, seemingly oblivious to the calls for him to step down following Byline Times shocking revelations.

He’s got a new lawyer, apparently at half the cost of his previous £800 an hour Mishcon de Raya attack dogs. Perhaps he’s miffed that his crowdfunder to sue Byline Times has barely raised a quarter of its target. 

Last night, MailOnline confirmed that Wootton would no longer be writing his weekly column while investigations took place. They and The Sun are looking into this newspaper’s reports - with Murdoch’s paper bringing in a team of external lawyers to help with the probe. 

GB News, however, continues to host his weekday show - and is studiously ignoring Byline Times’ requests for answers to our allegations.
