The Death of the Metaverse
Rumours of the untimely demise of Zuckerberg's multibillion dollar pet project have not been exaggerated, reports Graham Williamson
The Metaverse is dead.
There's been no official announcement to this effect, of course. Officially, Mark Zuckerberg has complained of a "narrative" that his company is "somehow moving away from focusing on the metaverse vision, so I just want to say upfront that that’s not accurate".
But then, as Mandy Rice-Davies might say, he would say that, wouldn't he?
