Some really good points here. Listening to some of the UK election debates recently I've become aware of the appeal of Reform in their refusal to get bogged down in political posturing - it's the simplicity of well rehearsed slogans rather than serious political thinking that appeals to so many, and yes it is of course reinforced on social media. How to counter it is tricky, there's no point in trying to engage in serious political debate or offer facts and evidence, sadly they really do have their own facts. I guess maybe accepting them for who they are might take the heat out of the polarisation which at least offers a chance to coexist?
