Just a quick reminder to say that we will be holding our regular monthly online News Meeting today on Zoom at 5pm UK time.

The subject of this session will be the ‘culture wars’ and we will be talking to Otto English about his recent exclusive Byline report debunking the political and media firestorm over claims that a school girl had identified as a cat.

We will discuss what that story, and the many other similar rows increasingly dominating the news agenda, say about the state of our politics and media.

We’ll also be joined by our Editor Hardeep Matharu, our Political Editor Adam Bienkov, and our regular stateside contributors Heidi Cuda and Matt Bernardini.
