Elon Musk and his Glaring Double Standards on 'Remigration'

Ever since he acquired Twitter, and rebranded it as X, Elon Musk has been sliding ever further to the political right, to the point where he has now become the world’s most far-right mass media mogul.
Immigration has become his main concern, having referred to “a crazy open border policy” and a “massive flood of illegal immigration” as the biggest existential threats to the US.
Whether he’s including himself as part of that “flood” of illegal migration, given his brother’s questioning of the South African-born billionaire’s initial immigration status remains unclear.
‘Remigration’
Bloomberg data shows the term ‘remigration’ is the latest far right term to take hold on Musk’s platform. It means the forced migration of specific minority groups, rather than just all foreigners, from a country.
Bloomberg tracked its use from an obscure term used by the Austrian far-right, through its online explosion over the past year.
